Coach Aarika R.
Aarika: Parkour Coach
Movement has always been a huge part of Coach Aarika’s life, and helping kids discover confidence through movement is what she loves most about coaching parkour.
As a certified surgical assistant and kinesiologist as well as Emotion Code Practitioner, with more than 30 years' experience working with youth in athletics, schools, and the
community, she combines movement science, positive coaching, and mindset support to help students build strength, body awareness, and resilience all while having fun.
Coach Aarika’s background as a gymnast and collegiate athlete, along with years as a fitness coach, shapes her approach to teaching safe progressions, strong
fundamentals, and creative movement. She believes parkour is more than just skills, it’s about learning to trust your body, try new things, and grow through challenges.
She has proudly served on the Warner Youth Sports Board for the last 8 years, coaching soccer and baseball and supporting youth athletics in her community. Coach
Aarika’s goals in coaching parkour are to help students feel stronger, more confident, and excited about what they are capable of and can achieve.
